The Cost
To use this latest on-line Internet based
accounting technology will of course require an investment by you, we have
based this on a client user basis.
It is for you to decide whether to
absorb this cost perhaps on the basis that the time costs of
accounts preparation will be greatly reduced, or alternatively you
could make an extra charge to your clients for the facility of using
a web-based application.
As always, the decision will be based
on your superior knowledge of your clients. But we genuinely believe
your clients will recognise this formidable service as an added
value service and be prepared to pay for the privilege. No doubt you
will remind them that they will of course be saving substantial sums
on expenditure on in-house desktop based accounting software, annual upgrades,
annual license fees and maintenance costs.
You could
also consider adopting a variable fee structure in an effort to encourage clients to use the Internet
, perhaps one fee level for
web-based clients and a higher or different fee for those clients
that may prefer to use more traditional methods.
